10 Including Children Killed during Crackdown against Anti-Hijab Protest in Iran

Iran’s security forces allegedly killed ten persons including children on Friday during a crackdown on anti-hijab protests.

As per a report of CNN that cited a human rights organization active in Iran, the anti-hijab protestors were fired at the protestors in Khash city.

CNN also shared a video clip from Khash. It showed several wounded protesters unconscious on the ground. Loud gunshots could also be heard in this video clip.

Meanwhile, the Fars News Agency which supports the Iranian government alleged that protestors had turned ‘rioters’ in Khash. It posted photos of charred vehicles and damaged buildings on Twitter blaming ‘rioters’ for the damage. But this government supporting agency also claimed that several people were killed and injured during the unrest in Khash on Friday.
