16-Yr-Old Girl gang raped by 2 Youths in Jajpur Dist

Jajpur: A teenage minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by two youths in Korei block of Odisha’s Jajpur district on Sunday night. The accused reportedly abducted the 16-year-old victim and then raped her.

As per reports, the victim was a resident of Kadama village under Korei police station. On Sunday she had gone to attend a village fair organized in the nearby area. During her return, two youths abducted her. She was gang raped by them at a secluded spot.

Both accused in the case have been identified. Preliminary investigation by police has revealed that one of the accused was from Kadama village, while the other was from Routpada.  The face and body of the victim bear injuries and marks of physical assault.

The seriously injured girl was referred to SCB medical college and hospital in Cuttack.
