2 Jawans Injured in Encounter With Terrorists in Anantnag of J&K  

Srinagar: Two soldiers were injured during an exchange o ffire with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday, reported NDTV.

The encounter began in Anantnag district’s Ahlan Gadole area on Saturday afternoon.

The terrorists targeted a patrol of security personel involved in an anti-terror operation in the forest in the Kokernag subdivision. Two soldiers were injured in the terrorist attack. It is suspected that the terrorists involved in the encounter are infiltrators from across the border. Special forces and paratroopers of the army are part of the operation to flush out these terrorists.

Reinforcement has been rushed to the area.
