3.3 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Assam

Tezpur (Assam): An earthquake of magnitude 3.3 on the Richter Scale hit Tezpur of Assam.

According to the National Center for Seismology information, the earthquake was experienced at 08:17 AM on Wednesday.

Taking to its official Twitter handle, the National Centre for Seismology stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.3, Occurred on 19-04-2023, 08:17:20 IST, Lat: 26.33 & Long: 93.29, Depth: 25 Km, Location: 61km SE of Tezpur, Assam, India.”

As per the data, the epicenter of the quake was about 10 km below ground.
