3 of a Family Burnt Alive, 4 injured in Fire Accident in Amritsar

Amritsar: Three members of a family were burnt to death and four others were seriously injured in a fire at a house in the Rose Avenue locality of Punjab’s Amritsar in the wee hours of Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Tajinder Singh, his wife Narinder Kaur, and his son Dilvansh.

Four other members of the family, Sehajpreet Singh, Sukhmani Kaur, Vicky, and Kiran, were seriously injured. They were admitted to a private hospital.

The fire brigade rushed to the spot to quench the fire. Although the real reason behind this fire accident is yet to be ascertained, yet police sources suspect short-circuit may be the reason behind the incident.
