39 Dead as Bus catches Fire after falling into Ravines in Pakistan’s Balochistan

At least 39 persons died in Pakistan when a passenger bus fell into a ravine and caught fire in Balochistan’s Lasbela on Sunday morning. This passenger coach was carrying nearly 48 passengers and it was traveling from Quetta to Karachi, reported The Dawn.

As per reports, due to speeding, the bus hit the pillar of a bridge while taking a U-turn near Lasbela. The vehicle subsequently careened into a ravine and then caught fire.

As most victims are charred to death, DNA testing will be done for the identification of the deceased. The injured were being shifted to Civil Hospital, Lasbela, reported Geo TV.

Three persons including a child and a woman are said to be rescued from the accident site. Seventeen bodies have been recovered from the accident site so far.
