Another Kanjhawala-Like case on New Year: Swiggy Agent Dies After Hit and Dragged by Car in Delhi

New Delhi: On New Year’s night, a food delivery agent of Swiggy died after a car hit him and dragged him for over a kilometer in Noida. The deceased is identified as Kaushal Yadav, a resident of Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh.

He met with this fatal accident at the hands of the inhuman driver at the sector 14 flyover in Noida around 1 am on New Year’s night. The car that killed him has not been identified yet.

After colliding with Kaushal’s bike, the car dragged him for around 1 km from the scene of the accident. Leaving behind the seriously injured Swiggy delivery boy, the driver of the car fled from the spot.

Delhi police have lodged a case regarding his death and an investigation is on into this hit-and-run. CCTV footage is being scoured to find out the car involved in the accident and its driver.

This accident of similar nature took place a few hours after 20-year-old Anjali Singh was hit by a car and dragged for about 12 km in Delhi. on Delhi’s roads.
