Bollywood’s Pathaan Breaks Box Office Record of KGF-2

Mumbai: Record-breaking spree of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is continuing. It keeps breaking records one after the other at the ticket windows. As per its first week’s collections, Pathaan surpassed the first week’s collection of Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2.

Pathaan’s total box office collection has exceeded Rs 600 crore globally.

Box Office India reported, “Pathaan is continuing its dream run at the box office with outstanding collections on Tuesday as it collected around 21 crore nett taking its first week (7 days) total to an astounding 315 crore net in Hindi. This is more than 100 crore more than the original Hindi film and 65 crore nett more than KGF 2 which held the highest first week total before Pathaan swept over it in five days.”

Meanwhile, trade analyst Ramesh Bala reported that Pathaan earned about Rs 640 crore in the worldwide box office collection.

Pathaan is the fourth installment in the Yash Raj Films (YRF) Spy Universe. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham have come together for the first time in Pathaan, written and directed by Siddharth Anand.
