Cattle Menace Hits Vande Bharat Exp Again

Gandhinagar: The high-tech Vande Bharat Superfast Express running between Gandhinagar and Mumbai faced cattle menace again. Vande Bharat Superfast Express collided with cattle between Udvada and Vapi stations in Gujarat on Thursday evening.

According to railway officials, the front panel of the train was slightly damaged because of this collision with cattle. The incident took place near crossing gate number 87 between Udvada and Vapi at around 6.23 p.m. The train had to stop at the spot. But it resumed its journey at 6.35 PM, railway sources said.

Although no one was hurt, this incident again brought forward the rising danger of stray cattle on railway tracks.

On October 6, this train hit cattle, which damaged its front part. On October 26, the Vande Bharat train collided with a bull. This train started its operation between Gandhinagar and Mumbai in September of this year.
