CBI Raids Rabri Devi’s House; Grills Her in IRCTC Jobs Scam Case

Patna: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday raided the residence of former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi. According to sources, the CBI officials interrogated her in connection with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) jobs scam case.

This case is related to alleged appointments made in the railways in return for land patches gifted or sold to former railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family. Lalu Yadav was the railway minister between 2004 and 2009.

Heavy security was deployed outside the former CM Rabri Devi’s house during this CBI action.

On February 27, a Delhi court summoned former railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, and 14 others in connection with the alleged land-for-job scam. Special judge Geetanjali Goel directed the accused persons to appear before the court on March 15.
