Don’t Miss Rare Green Comet Approaching Earth for 1st Time in 50,000 Yrs

Be prepared to observe a green comet, which has not been seen in the past 50,000 years in the earth’s night sky in the coming weeks. According to NASA, the comet is named C/2022 E3 (ZTF). It will be at its closest position to the Earth’s orbit in late January and early February. This flyby will be a rare occurrence, as after this encounter, this rare green comet may not come near the earth for thousands of years.

According to Space.com, it was the stone age on earth when this comet appeared in the earth’s sky. Now we humans in e-age will get a chance to observe the rare comet.

It will be closest to our planet on February 1 and 2. On January 12, it will be closest to the sun, according to NASA. This comet can be seen near the bright star Polaris, also called the North Star, when it comes closer to earth.

NASA stated that the comet will be visible through binoculars in the morning sky in the Northern Hemisphere during most of January. Those in the Southern hemisphere can see it in early February.
