Earthquake of 3.2 Magnitude Felt in Assam’s Kamrup

New Delhi: An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale was experienced in Assam in the early morning of Wednesday. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt at 3:59 am, at 10 km depth in Kamrup district.

There were no reports of any damage to property, or loss of lives due to this recent earthquake.

An earthquake of 3.8 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Odisha’s Koraput district in the wee hours on March 3. The precise time and location of the tremor was 5.05 am and at latitude 18.83 and longitude 83.21. The epicentre of the quake was at a depth of 5 km.
