Elderly Man Killed In Wild Elephant Attack In Kalahandi

Kalahandi: A 50-year-old man was killed in an elephant attack in Tebamohula villager under Rampur police limits in Odisha’s Kalahandi district on Thursday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Panchu Majhi (50).

According to reports, the incident took place while Panchu was standing outside his house on Thursday evening when a wild elephant trampled him to death.

On being informed, forest department officials reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway in this regard.
