Fake Certificate Racket: 4 Postal Job Aspirants Arrested in Koraput

Bhubaneswar: Four applicants for jobs in the postal department were arrested in Jeypore of Koraput district on charges of submitting fake educational certificates.

These applicants had furnished fake certificates for the recruitment of Gramin dak sevaks. The arrested accused are Gopal Krushna Pattnaik and Dami Harijan of Nabarangpur,  Sarathi Halba of Koraput, and Kishore Khara of Malkangiri district.

Their forgery came to the fore during the document verification. Later, the postal department authorities lodged a formal complaint with Jeypore Town Police.

In a similar incident, postal department has lodged complaint against six applicants in Sambalpur district for using fake certificates of education qualification. Recently a major fake certificate racket was busted in the Bolangir district.
