Fake Certificate Racket: Three Branch Postmasters Terminated in Kendrapara

Kendrapara: Following the busting of the fake certificate racket, the India Post Department sacked three branch postmasters in the Kendrapara district. All of them had used fake educational certificates to get appointed.

These three expelled branch postmasters are identified as Prassana Kumar Sethi, Soumya Ranjan Sethi, and Mamashree Bharati. Interestingly all of them are from the Bhadrak district.

One of them was serving the postal department for the last two years, while the other two had joined six months back.

All of them had absconded when the fake certificate racket came to the fore.

Recently, some applicants for the post of Gramin Dak Devak (GDS) also used fake certificates. One Anita Jena from Bhadrak district submitted a fake matriculation certificate to get the GDS job in Kendrapara district. Her certificate showed she had passed the 10^th exam of the UP board. Her certificate showed she had scored 99 marks out of 100 in Odia in the Matriculation examination.
