Former BJD MLA Anam Naik Joins BJP

Bhubaneswar: Bhawanipatna’s former BJD MLA Anam Naik joined the BJP at the party’s state headquarters in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

He joined the saffron party along with his supporters in the presence of the BJP State Unit president Manmohan Samal, Leader of the Opposition in the Odisha Assembly Jayanarayan Mishra and other top BJP leaders of the state.

During the occasion, some Youth Congress leaders and workers of Mayurbhanj district including Pradesh Congress Committee member Rakesh Singh joined the BJP.

These new entrants to the BJP were welcomed with party caps and saffron scarves bearing the party symbol.
