Fuel price update in the state today

Bhubaneswar: The rates of petrol and diesel vary depending upon several factors such as local taxes, Value Added Tax (VAT), freight charges, etc. The price has now aligned to market rates which show the rates will increase every time rupees will fall in comparison to the dollar.

Today, petrol and diesel are being sold at Rs 103.05 and Rs 94.62 respectively in the capital city of Bhubaneswar, while the rate of fuel is Rs 103.80 for petrol and Rs 95.34 for diesel in Cuttack.

The price of petrol in Malkangiri where the fuel rates exhibit the highest charge in the state, is at Rs 108.91, while diesel is being sold in the town without any change in rate in the last 24 hours at Rs 100.56.

The prices of petrol in some other major towns in the state are as follows: Rs 103.26 in Puri, Rs 103.50 in Sundargarh, Rs 107.37 in Rayagada, Rs 103.63 in Nayagarh, Rs 107.68 in Nabarangpur, Rs 104.01 in Keonjhar, Rs 103.05 in Kendrapara and Rs 103.57 in Balasore.

As far as diesel is concerned, the price of the fuel is Rs 95.14 in Balasore, Rs 96.79 in Bargarh, Rs 94.54 in Jagatsinghpur, Rs 94.74 in Jharsuguda, Rs 94.83 in Puri, and Rs 95.15 in Sambalpur.
