Imran Khan to Contest from All 33 Seats in Pakistan Bypolls

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan will contest by-elections to all the 33 National Assembly seats, reported Express Tribune quoting PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi. Bypolls for these constituencies are to be held in March.

Senior PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi announced, “We have decided to participate in the by-elections and Imran Khan will contest from all seats.”

As per the announcement by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), by-polls to 33 National Assembly seats would be held on March 16. The seats fell vacant after the resignations of PTI lawmakers.
