India Logs 1,249 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, 2 Deaths In Last 24 Hours

New Delhi: India’s Covid-19 tally reached 7927, with 1,249 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data update.

Meanwhile, the country has also reported two Covid deaths. The total Covid deaths in the country so far stand at 5,30,818.

The recovery of 925 patients in the same period took the cumulative tally to 4,41,61,922. Consequently, the recovery rate stands at 98.79 per cent.

The daily positivity rate stands at 1.19% and the weekly positivity rate at 1.14%.

Also in the same period, a total of 1, 05,316 tests were conducted across the country, increasing the overall tally to over 92.07 crore.

As of Friday morning, India has administered total of 220.65 crore vaccines against Covid, including 6,117 doses in the last 24 hours, the Ministry said.
