Junior Engineer Found Hanging in Boudh

Boudh: The body of a junior engineer of the Water Resources department was found hanging in his official residence in Odisha’s Boudh.

The deceased was identified as Pradip Kumar Ghosh (32) from Baripada. Unmarried Ghosh was staying alone at the government quarters in the Irrigation Colony of Boudh.

Although it is suspected to be an incident of suicide, the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, on Wednesday Ghosh attended a feast. But midway, he went back to his quarters, promising to return back. When he did not come back after a long time, his colleagues reached his quarters to call him. Finding the door locked, they suspected something fishy and broke it open. Ghosh was found hanging from the ceiling fan.

Sources say, said Ghosh was undergoing treatment for psychiatric problems.

Boudh police reached the spot to start an investigation.
