King Khan Detained at Mumbai Airport For Costly Watches

Mumbai: Customs officials detained Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan at Mumbai airport on Friday night because of some costly watches he and his associates were carrying with them.

According to sources, King Khan had to pay up Rs 6.83 lakh as Customs Duty for permission to leave the airport.

The cine-star had returned from Sharjah to Mumbai International Airport on a private jet. As per reports, customs officials found the costly watches in the baggage of the actor and those accompanying him.

Sharukh had visited Sharjah to take part in the Sharjah International Book Fair 2022. He was honoured with the Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative Award at this international book fair.
