King Khan’s Pathan has Tom Cruise Connection

Shahrukh Khan’s much awaited action thriller ‘Pathan’ is all set to be released on January 25, 2023. The teaser of the movie released recently hints that action scenes of this movie produced by Yash Raj Films are at par with Hollywood blockbusters. The reason behind it is Casey O’Neil, a renowned Hollywood stunt coordinator, whose name is associated with action extravaganzas like the Mission Impossible series starring Tom Cruise.

Apart from Mission Impossible movies, Casey has also directed action scenes of Jack Reacher and Top Gun; Maverick. He boasts of being part of some films of Steven Spielberg and Marvel Studios.

Siddharth Anand, the director of Pathan, recently revealed this Tom Cruise connection of his movie. “I was delighted to have someone like Casey O’Neill, who has extensively worked with Tom Cruise, to be by our side,” he said.

Anand claimed that Casey has created edge-of-the-seat action for Pathan that could match what he’s done back home in Hollywood. “What Casey has created in Pathan is simply mind-boggling”, he added.

According to sources, Pathan also has an action scene shot at Burj Khalifa, which may make fans remember Mission Impossible of Tom Cruise.

Apart from Sharukh, this movie also has John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in its star cast.
