Meenakshi Bahinipati Appointed as New President of Odisha Women’s Congress

Bhubaneswar: All India Congress Committee (AICC) appointed Meenakshi Bahinipati as the president of Odisha Pradesh Mahila Congress,

According to an AICC press release, the national president of the Congress party has approved the proposal for her appointment.

Meenakshi is the wife of Jeypore Congress MLA Taraprasad Bahinipati. At present she is a general secretary of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee. During her political career, she has been elected as chairperson of Koraput Municipality twice. She was the president of Koraput district Congress for 13 years from 2011 to 2023.
