Minor Dies After Coming Under School Gate in Cuttack Dist

Cuttack: A child died after coming under the gate of a primary school in Ankula in Athagarh of Odisha’s Cuttack district.

The deceased was identified as Chiku Nayak.

According to reports, Chiku was playing near the gate of the primary school. While playing, one part of the iron gate collapsed on the child, injuring him severely.

The locals rushed him to the nearby hospital. However, he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.

One being informed, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the matter.
