Mumbai Man Tries to Kill Girlfriend for Refusing Physical Intimacy, Arrested

Mumbai: 28-year-old Akash Mukherjee was arrested for allegedly trying to kill his girlfriend when she refused to get physically intimate with him at a public place in Mumbai. He strangled her and also banged her head against a rock

The woman suffered serious injuries.  Her boyfriend has been charged with attempt to murder. Akash and his girlfriend, also aged 28 years, were colleagues in a company and were in relationship for the past few years.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when the couple was in the Bandra area in Mumbai. Akash allegedly demanded to get intimate with her. When the woman to reject his advance, enraged by her refusal, Akash allegedly tried to strangle her and hit her head against a rock. He also tried to drown her in a drain. The woman shouted for help

Police rushed to the spot to take Mukherjee into custody and sent the injured woman to the hospital.
