“My Dog was Driving the Car”, Drunk Man’s Bizarre Plea to Escape Police Action

Policemen were astonished to find a dog in the driver’s seat of a car when they stopped it for overspeeding in the US state of Colorado. The inebriated driver of the car had swapped seats with his pet dog to escape police action. The drunken man claimed that his pet dog was driving the car.

The Springfield Police Department in the US state of Colorado took to Facebook to report this bizarre incident where a man after being pulled over for over speeding blamed his dog claiming that it was driving the car.

The policemen stopped the car for traveling at 52 mph surpassing the permissible speed limit of 30 mph on Saturday. To evade police action and arrest, the switched the driving seat with his dog and claimed that canine was driving the car.

Later when summoned over his inebriated state he ran from the police officers officers. He, however, was booked under several charges. His dog was handed over to one of his acquaintances.
