Naba Das Murder: Justice (Retd) JP Das To Monitor CB Probe

Bhubaneswar: Retired Orissa High Court Judge Justice JP Das will supervise and monitor the Crime Branch probe into the murder of Odisha Health Minister Naba Kishore Das.

The Odisha Government had earlier written to the Orissa High Court to appoint a sitting or retired judge to monitor the investigation.

Meanwhile, the Crime Branch has taken the accused Gopal Das on four-day remand for questioning.

There are various discussions that there should be a CBI investigation into the unfortunate, shocking and sudden death of the Minister.

Two days after the assassination of Odisha Health Minister Naba Das in Jharsuguda, the state government on Tuesday transferred the district’s SP and Brajarajnagar SDPO to police headquarters.
