Nitish Hints at Tejashwi Becoming His Successor in Bihar

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar hinted that in future he will transfer power to his deputy Tejashwi Yadav in the future. He made this indirect suggestion while speaking at a dental college in Nalanda on Monday.

Nalanda is the hometown of Nitish Kumar. He assured the residents of his hometown that they needn’t worry about the development as Tejashwi would take it forward.

“We have done so much for Nalanda and whatever more needs to be done, Tejashwi will do it and the people of Nalanda will not have to face any problems. There are many who would try to create differences between us, but I appeal to all of you to not be misguided. We have to remain united and continue with our work,” said Nitish Kumar.

On Tuesday, he again repeated his hint regarding Tejaswi Yadav. Addressing a meeting of the seven-party Mahagathbandhan that he leads, Nitish Kumar said, “We have decided to take Tejashwi forward in the 2025 assembly polls. The next assembly polls will be contested under the leadership of Tejashwi”.
