Ollywood Casting Couch Slur: Actress Prakruti Mishra & Producer Tutu Nayak at Loggerheads

Bhubaneswar: ‘Casting couch’ tremors have again shaken up Ollywood, the Odia film industry. Actress Prakruti Mishra accused film producer Sanjay Nayak, well known as Tutu Nayak, to be involved in harassing newcomers in the Odia film industry.

Prakruti in her interview telecast on an Odia TV channel alleged that film producer Nayak was exploiting aspiring actresses in the name of providing a chance to act in movies. She however said that she had never faced such a situation, but came to know about it from some victims.

Nayak called up a press conference to refute the allegations made against him by Prakruti Mishra. Nayak also threatened to file a defamation case against her and the news channel that telecast her interview.

Nayak alleged that some rival film producers had instigated Prakruti Mishra to level such allegations against him.
