Operation Against Terrorists Continues in Kashmir’s Anantnag

Srinagar: The operation to track down and annihilate terrorists hiding in the forests of hilly terrain continues in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on the fourth day on Saturday.

Drones are being used by security forces to identify the location of terrorists.

The target is to neutralize two to three terrorists rounded up in the area.

On Friday one more soldier succumbed to injuries taking the toll in this encounter to four.

Colonel Manpreet Singh, the commanding officer of 19 Rashtriya Rifles, Major Aashish Dhonchak, from the same battalion, and DSP Humayun Muzamil Bhat were killed in this continuing anti-terrorist operation on Wednesday.
