PM Modi’s ‘Green’ Jacket Made from Recycled Plastic Bottles  

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday wore a special light blue jacket with a green message. This blue jacket he wore to Parliament is special because it is made from recycled PET bottles or plastic bottles that we throw away.

According to reports, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) presented this jacket to PM Modi at the India Energy Week in Bengaluru.

It has been decided to recycle more than 10 crore PET bottles to manufacture sustainable garments for IOC employees and personnel of the armed forces.

Wearing this special jacket, PM Modi reached Parliament to deliver a Motion of Thanks to the President’s address in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
