Rs 8 Cr Worth Fake Cancer Medicine of International Brands Seized

New Delhi: In a massive haul, Delhi Police’s Crime Branch on Tuesday seized Rs 8 crore worth of fake cancer medicines of international brands. Seven persons involved in this fake drugs manufacturing racker were arrested.
An international syndicate was involved in the manufacturing of fake life-saving medicines.

This gang was involved in the manufacturing and supply of spurious life-saving cancer drugs. The accused were making a profit out of the misery of cancer patients. The drugs sold by them had no active ingredients.
The fake medicines were marketed throughout the country.

The arrested persons included two Indians who have MBBS degrees from China as well as a Bangladeshi with a similar Chinese medical degree.
