Shocking Suspicion: Man Tortures 12-Yr-Old Sister to Death for Menstrual Stain

Mumbai: A 12-year-old girl died because of the torture inflicted on her by her 30-year-old brother, who mistook his sister’s menstrual blood stain as the mark of sexual intercourse. This ill-fated girl from Maharashtra’s Ulhasnagar had her first menstrual cycle. The accused was allegedly provoked by his wife to opt for this gruesome act.

The menstrual blood stain on this girl’s clothes triggered suspicion in the minds of his brother, who suspected that the girl was having an illicit relationship with someone.

This girl stayed with her brother and his wife while her parents live in a village. Her brother worked as a security guard.

The suspicious man kicked and punched the poor girl for several days. When her condition deteriorated, she was admitted to the central hospital in Ulhasnagar, where the doctors declared her dead.

The hospital staff informed the police about it. Post mortem of the girl revealed that she had faced inhuman torture and there were torture marks on her body.

Police arrested the brother under Sec 302 (murder) of the IPC.
