Smoke In Secunderabad-Agartala Express Triggers Panic Among Passengers At Berhampur Railway Station

Bramhapur: Smoke in Secunderabad-Agartala Express triggered panic among the passengers at Brahmapur railway station.

As per reports, the matter came to the fore after some passengers noticed smoke in the B-5 coach and raised an alarm. Several passengers reportedly deboarded the train and were not willing to travel on the train. The passengers also demanded to change the coach.

Though the smoke was controlled immediately, the panic-stricken passengers refused to travel in the coach fearing another electrical breakdown. They demanded a replacement for the coach.

On Friday, Odisha saw the biggest train mishap of the century. In the horrific tragedies, at least 275 people died while over 1,000 were injured when 21 coaches of two — Coromandel Express and SMVP-Howrah Superfast Express — and a goods train collided and derailed on Friday evening near Bahanaga Bazar Railway station in Odisha’s Balasore.
