Talcher Medical College Named After Freedom Fighter Pabitra Mohan Pradhan

Bhubaneswar: The Talcher Medical College will be named after noted freedom fighter Pabitra Mohan Pradhan. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik made this announcement on Tuesday.

The CM also announced that Pabitra Mohan Smruti Peeth at Talcher will be developed along with the establishment of a full-size statue of the freedom fighter to honour his contribution to India’s freedom struggle and development of Odisha.

Added to it, a new bridge coming up over the Brahmani River at Kaniha will also be named after late Pradhan.

The Chief Minister has taken this decision respecting the demands of locals to preserve the memory of this great leader.
