Truck Hits PCR Van In Boudh, 4 Cops Critical

Boudh: At least four cops sustained grievous injuries after a patrolling van was hit by a truck at Manmunda in the Boudh district on Thursday morning.

According to reports, the incident took place while a police patrolling team was returning from an accident spot at Baunshuni late Wednesday night when a speeding truck hit their van near the Manmunda petrol pump on National Highway 57.

Subsequently, all the police personnel in the vehicle were injured in the mishap as their vehicle overturned due to the impact of the collision.

A woman ASI, who sustained grievous injuries, was shifted to a medical facility in Cuttack, while others are being treated in a local hospital.
