Watch | Drunk Man Sings in Bihar Jail; Gets Offers from Music Industry

Patna: Melodious voice of a man jailed for alcohol consumption in dry Bihar has attracted the attention of netizens and the music industry. A clip of this youth named Kanhaiya Kumar is viral on social media.

Bollywood singer Ankit Tiwari shared the video and offered the viral-tipsy-man a song in his music company. A UP MLA assured legal help and rehabilitation to Kanhaiya. He also assured him an opportunity to sing in UP’s famous studio.

Kanhaiya was arrested by Buxur Police in inebriated state. He had allegedly gone to work in adjoining UP and entered Bihar after consuming liquor there. As per the prohibition law in Bihar, no one can enter the state in a drunken state. So he was arrested by Bastar police.

While lodged in jail, he sang a Bhojpuri describing the ordeal of a drunkard.

A video clip of his singing went viral on Twitter.
