Wife Refused to Serve Dinner; Husband Kills Her in Anger

Raipur: A man hacked his wife to death in Korba of Chhattisgarh when she refused to serve him dinner. Chhattisgarh Police has arrested the accused named Yogendra Shriavas (38).

The accused is a pharmacist by profession and serves in a private clinic in Korba. After returning back from work, he asked his wife Manjeeta Shrivas (32) to serve him his dinner. When she refused to serve dinner for some reason, a heated argument erupted between them. In a rage, Yogendra attacked his wife with an axe and killed her. The couple has an 8-year-old son and a 10-year-old daughter. These children called up the neighbours to intervene. But it was too late.

Feeling guilty, Yogendra called up the police and informed them about his misdeed. He was arrested on charges of murder of his wife.
