Winter’s Night Shivers Returning Back in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chilly nights are returning to Odisha. Kirei of Sundargarh district registered the lowest night temperature in the state at 9.7 degrees Celcius.

G Udaygiri of Kandhamal district recorded 12.4 degrees Celsius temperature on Saturday night.

Phulbani of Kandhamal district registered 13 degrees Celsius night temperatures.

As per the reports given by Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar experienced a night temperature of 16.8 degrees Celsius, whereas Cuttack city also recorded 16.5 degrees Celsius night temperature.

Night temperature dropped to 16 degrees Celsius in Similiguda of Koraput district.

Daringbadi of Kandhamal district, which is termed the “Kashmir of Odisha”, and Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi district recorded 13 degrees Celsius night temperature.

Likewise, Sundargarh district recorded 12.5 degrees Celsius, followed by Chiplima of Sambalpur at 14.7 degree Celsius, and Jharsuguda at 12 degrees Celsius. Keonjhar and Deogarh recorded 13.2 degrees Celsius and 13.4 degree Celsius respectively.
