Bhubaneswar: A cyclonic circulation is likely to form at the end of September over the north Andaman Sea and the neighbourhood. This may happen around September 29. Under its influence, a low-pressure will form an adjoining area of the north Andaman Sea and adjoining the east-central Bay of Bengal during the subsequent 24 hours. informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre issued a yellow warning, forecasting thunderstorms and lighting in 26 districts of Odisha during the next two days.
Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Khordha, Puri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Boudh, Sonepur, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and Bolangir.
