Yogi Adityanath Receives Death Threat through Phone Call & Text Message

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath received a death threat through a phone call. The miscreant made this threat call to toll-free number 112. This toll-free number is used to call up the police in the event of an emergency.

Following receipt of this call, UP Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) was alerted. The caller has been identified as one Rihan. A case has been registered against the caller.

This caller also sent a message to the social media desk of the UP Police. The message read, “”Yogi cm ko mar du ga jald hi (will kill CM Yogi soon).”

The DP of the caller had a photo bearing the word Allah.

Earlier this month, a man from Jharkhand had vowed on social media to shoot and kill UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat have taken the threat seriously and have registered a case against the man named Aman Raja for threatening to “kill” the UP Chief Minister.

Through a post on Facebook, Aman Raja vowed to shoot Yogi Adityanath. A screenshot of the post was tweeted to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Director General of Police and other officials.

Following it, a case was registered against Aman Raja at Kotwali police station in Baghpat.
