Youth’s Body Found Floating in Kuakhai River

Bhubaneswar: A youth’s body was found floating in the Kuakhai River in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar.

Reportedly, the youth, identified as Tophan Samal, a resident of Naharkanta was missing for the last four days.

According to reports, the matter came to light Tuesday morning when some locals found the body floating in the river. Immediately, they informed the police regarding the same.

On being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from the river.

The family of the deceased has lodged a complaint alleging he was murdered and thrown into the river over supposed past enmity.

The police have initiated to probe into the matter.
