Archana Sextortion Case: Orissa HC Rejects Shradhanjali’s Anticipatory Bail Plea

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court in a hearing on Tuesday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Shradhanjali Behera, one of the accused named in the high-profile Archana Nag honeytrap case.

Orissa High Court recently rejected the plea of Shradhanjali for interim protection. Following this, the accused visited the ED office in Bhubaneswar.

According to sources, the High Court directed Shradhanjali to cooperate with Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the investigation. The next hearing of this case is scheduled to be held on January 17.

On November 23, Shradhanjali appeared before the ED in relation to the money laundering and blackmailing case involving Archana Nag.

Shardhanjali is suspected to be an associate of Archana in the past. But later both had fallen apart. Shraddhanjali had filed a complaint at Khandagiri police station in which she had alleged that Archana had trapped and forced her to become part of the blackmail racket.
