BJP President JP Nadda Thrashes BJD Over Misgoverance

Kandhamal: Days after Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik took a jibe at national parties, BJP National president Jagat Prakash Nadda responded appropriately on Wednesday by bringing up alleged misgovernance in the state.

Nadda attacked the BJD government during his one-day visit to Odisha by bringing up a number of problems, including the issue of Ratna Bhandar of Puri Lord Jagannath.

“Where is the key to the Ratna Bhandar?” the BJP National President asked during a speech to a gathering at Tumudibandha in the Kandhamal district. “I want to ask why Ratna Bhandar has not been given any protection from the Naveen Patnaik administration.”

The BJP National President stated that violence against women has nearly doubled in Odisha and that it is disgraceful that human trafficking has also reached alarming proportions, citing data from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).

“What is the government doing about women’s safety? Other people, including tribes, are being tormented here. Criminal assaults against cops are also prevalent,” Nadda said. In his speech, Nadda further questioned, “Should we let such a government to continue in power? What sort of state is it where one doesn’t know who is in charge?

“60 lakh people are being deprived of the benefits of Ayushman Bharat by CM Naveen Patnaik; should such a govt be allowed to run the state?”, Nadda attacked the state govt. According to Nadda, only the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been able to adequately solve problems involving the nation’s poor, destitute, and neglected, as well as farmers and women.
