Bolangir Section Officer Lands In Vig Net On Bribery Charges

Bolangir: Odisha Vigilance on Friday arrested a Section officer of Bolangir’s Patnagarh Tehsil office for taking a bribe.

As per the complaint, the accused identified as Jugal Kishore Rout had demanded Rs 15000 from a person for the mutation of a property.

Following this, the victim lodged a complaint with Vigilance.

Based on the complaint, Vigilance had laid a trap and apprehended Rout while he was receiving the gratification.

The entire bribe amount was recovered from Rout.
