Balasore: In a significant development related to the investigation into the train tragedy in Balasore, Odisha, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken action by sealing the rented house of a railway signal JE employed under the Soro section.
This move comes after the signal JE and his family were reported missing from their rented residence following the unfortunate accident at Bahanaga, which has claimed the lives of 292 passengers so far. The CBI had previously interrogated the signal JE at an undisclosed location as part of their ongoing investigation.
Surprisingly, the CBI team had concluded their investigation and left Balasore on June 16, only to return on Monday to seal the signal JE’s house. Following this, the CBI officials proceeded to the residence of the Bahanaga Station Master, located in Tentei Chhak under the Soro Block.
The CBI’s decision to seal the signal JE’s house indicates a significant development in the probe, emphasizing the importance of examining all potential leads and individuals associated with the tragic incident. The authorities are determined to uncover the truth behind the train tragedy, and their actions demonstrate a comprehensive approach to the investigation.
