Central University Odisha Gets Prof Chakradhar Tripathi As Its New VC

Koraput: After over a year of the post lying vacant, the Central University of Odisha is set to get Prof Chakradhar Tripathi as its new vice-chancellor.

President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday appointed Prof Tripathi of Visva Bharati Santiniketan, West Bengal, as the VC of the varsity.

According to the Ministry of Education release, Tripathi has been appointed for a term of five years from the date he assumes office or he attains the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier.

Tripathi is a faculty member of Hindi in Visva Bharati.
