Kandhamal: Class X Student Goes Missing After Falling into Waterfall, Search On

Phulbani: A Class X student reportedly went missing after falling into a waterfall in the Gochhapada area of Kandhamal district on Sunday.

The missing student, identified as Rakhal Behera, aged 15, hails from Nakdis village in Katingia panchayat.

Rakhal, a student of Ararsh Vidyhalaya, ventured to the waterfall with friends on a Sunday afternoon. Tragically, he slipped from a rock and disappeared into the waterfall.

Concerned by Rakhal’s absence, his family and friends initiated a search operation. Subsequently, the local fire services personnel were alerted to the incident and joined the search efforts. Their collective mission is to locate the missing boy. The search operation is still underway.
