Farmer Trampled To Death By Jumbo In Deogarh Forest

Deogarh: A farmer was trampled to death by a wild elephant at Chirugunikudar village under the Riamal forest range in the Deogarh district.

The deceased farmer has been identified as Bhagya Kisan (35) of the same village.

According to reports, the incident occurred when Kisan was guarding his paddy field yesterday night.

Meanwhile, a wild elephant attacked Kisan resulting in his death on the spot.

On being informed, Forest department officials reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem, reports added.
