Even though several other agencies and models have already indicated that the cyclone will intensify, the weather agency has not yet made a prediction regarding it.
IMD’s Regional Center in Bhubaneswar has officially declared that the IMD has not issued any cyclone forecasts and that they won’t be in a better position to comment on the system’s intensity until the low-pressure system arises around October 20. According to IMD, it is now too early to make any specific projections or forecasts.
The Southwest Monsoon has reportedly withdrawn further from all of Bihar, all of Sikkim, all of Meghalaya, the entirety of Madhya Pradesh, some portions of Assam, Tripura, and West Bengal, as well as additional portions of Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra, according to the IMD.
During the next two days, the circumstances are highly likely to improve and allow for a further departure of the southwest monsoon from some further areas of Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, inland Maharashtra, Jharkhand, some interior Odisha, and the entirety of West Bengal.
